For the first time in Australia, Apple is offering a special one day sale through its online store www.Apple.com.au. The tradition in the United States is to have major retail sales on the Friday following Thanksgiving on a day known as Black Friday. The phrase Black Friday was initially coined because of the massive traffic jams and crowded footpaths that occurred on this day of shopping sprees.
We are fortunate this year that Apple is bringing the joy to Australia too. Anyone who follows Apple products knows how hard it is to get a discount from an official outlet. So this Apple sale is a real treat.
The sale starts at midnight on Friday 27th of November 2009 and runs until 11.59pm the same day.
Apple is advertising that there will be a sale on iPods, iPhones and Macs – all with free shipping. No doubt there will also be discounts on other Apple products and accessories too. So if you’ve been waiting to buy the iPhone outright, this is the time to do it!
