All orders from the online Apple Store get Free Shipping!*The iPad will not take a standard sized SIM card for 3G data usage. The micro-SIM is about 50% smaller than the current mobile phone sim cards, so to get 3G data on the iPad you will need to get micro-SIM from your mobile provider of choice.

Why buy the iPad 2?

It’s your organiser, photo album, library and netbook all in one.

Calendar - it’s big and it’s beautiful. Hold it in portrait to see your month at a glance; turn it to landscape for a detailed look at the day. Create multiple colour-coded calendars to reach another level of organisation. It’s a dream for those of us who switched from a paper planner to something digital and have never quite been satisfied. The option to sync with iTunes takes it close to perfection.

Photos - tap a photo album to scroll through your pictures in the snazzy way we’ve come to expect from Apple devices. The large screen and extra wide viewing angle makes it perfect for showing off your photos to the adoring fans gathered around. You can create your own slideshows and play them with music and fun transitions. And one of the coolest parts is that it uses Apple’s Faces and Places feature, allowing you to quickly view all pictures of a certain person or favourite place.

iBooks - The joy of reading a book without having to carry a book around. You hold it like a book and flip the pages like a book. In portrait, you read one page at a time. Rotate to landscape and you see two pages at a time. Unlike a book, you get a built-in dictionary and can customise the font. It even automatically saves your place when you take a break from reading so you don’t have to worry about your bookmark falling out.

Internet - you might end up using your iPad for surfing the internet more than your computer. The large screen combined with multi-touch technology is almost the equivalent of reading a paper version of your favourite websites. Flicking through pages and pinching to zoom in and out lets you browse the internet the way you’ve always wanted to — with your hands.
